I started Bootcamp with Ripple Fitness in Sept. 2012 on a Scoopon deal. Even making the decision to do this was hard as I had become so accustomed to making excuses … I was too busy and wouldn’t have time or I would fail and not lose weight anyway …

Thanks to the persuasion of friends I finally turned up to my first Bootcamp early on that Sat morning … I remember feeling scared and intimidated and more than a little freaked out …

Now looking back I realise how absurd that was. It was by far the best decision I had ever made. It has taken a lot of hard work, but I have since lost 14kg and have never been healthier or fitter. The best part is that I have maintained my current weight for at least 6-8months, which I have never been able to do before.

At Ripple Fitness, I have learnt so much about health and nutrition, about fitness, exercise and rest and recovery but more importantly they have taught me about myself … My strengths and weaknesses … Exactly how much I truly am capable of …

After giving birth to my son earlier this year I knew I wanted to return to exercise but was nervous about returning as I felt out of shape and insecure about my weight and lack of fitness. So I messaged Ripple Fitness and we discussed the idea of personal training.

To say I was scared is an understatement, however I turned up to Ripple HQ on my first session wearing a brave face and re-started my fitness journey.

It was hard and more often that not I embarrassed by one thing or another, but with the encouragement and support of from my trainer Dale I got through each session and I started to see improvements.
